wik-neo-single-commercial-air-hockey-table
WIK Neo Single Commercial Air Hockey Table 8ft

The Owner's Insights on the WIK Neo Single

The Neo Single is the standard cabinet in WIK's current commercial air hockey range, and it is the one most venues start with. Bold, brightly coloured graphics and LED illumination through the playfield and the legs make it read as an attraction from the far side of a room, which is most of the job an arcade machine has to do before anyone has touched it.

A quick note on the photo: it shows three Neo tables linked together as a triple. The Neo Single is one of those cabinets on its own, so you receive one 8ft table for two players, not three.

What makes the Neo range different from an ordinary cabinet is that the tables link. Connect up to three of them and up to six players can compete in the same match, which turns a two-player game into something a whole group can join at once. You can buy one now and add to it later, which is why the Single is the sensible entry point into the range rather than a compromise version of it.

Underneath, it is a full 8ft commercial machine: 240 x 130cm, around 230kg, polycarbonate playing field and barriers, a 160W air pump and an electronic coin mech specified as standard. One honest note – at that weight it is designed to stay where you put it, and it is 240cm long, so the route into the room matters as much as the room. For a spare bedroom at home, the WIK Home or the Dybior Blizzard are the right end of the range.

Why You'll Love the WIK Neo Single

Links as a twin or a triple – connect up to three tables and run one match with up to six players, which a standard cabinet cannot do.

LED lighting in the playfield and the legs – the whole cabinet lights up rather than just a score panel, so it draws players over.

Polycarbonate playing field and barriers – a perforated bed with side and centre barriers, built for the knocks of constant public play.

160W air pump – a strong, even cushion across the full 8ft bed, which is what keeps the puck genuinely fast.

COMESTERO RM5 or NRI coin acceptor – an electronic mech from day one, with a ticket dispenser, bill acceptor or card reader available as options.

Why You Should Consider WIK

WIK is a Polish amusement equipment manufacturer supplying arcades, family entertainment centres and holiday parks across Europe. It is not a furniture brand with a games table sideline, and the Neo shows it: a 230kg cabinet, polycarbonate throughout, a commercial air pump and an electronic coin mech specified as standard. That is a design brief for a machine that gets played every day, not one that gets used at Christmas.

Single, Twin or Triple: Which Should You Buy?

The Single is one cabinet, two players, and it links to others later. The Twin is two cabinets connected as one four-player match. The Triple is three, with up to six players in a single game. The decision is really about your footfall: if groups arrive in twos and threes, a Single does the job and leaves the option open. If you regularly have a queue of four or six waiting, a linked set stops them having to split up or take turns, and that is usually where the revenue difference shows. If you are planning to grow into a twin or triple, tell us when you order so we can confirm the linking arrangement and layout with WIK.

What Payment Systems Can Be Fitted?

The Neo Single comes with a COMESTERO RM5 or NRI electronic coin acceptor as standard. Beyond that, a ticket dispenser, a bill acceptor and a card reader are all available as options, so the cabinet can be specified for a ticket redemption arcade, a cash venue or a cashless site. It is worth deciding before you order rather than retrofitting later, because the wiring and cabinet preparation differ. If the table is going into a private games room and you want no payment system at all, say so and we will have it set up that way.

What Will It Cost to Run?

WIK publish the figures: 60W in demo mode and 390W in game mode, on a standard 230V/50Hz supply. In practice the table draws very little while it is sitting lit and waiting for a player, and only pulls its full load while a game is running. For a venue open long hours, that difference is worth knowing when you work out a running cost per day.

Message Rossa on WhatsApp

WIK Neo Single Specifications

Everything below is taken directly from WIK's own specification for this table.

Table size

240 x 130 x 85cm

Weight

Approx. 230kg

Packaged dimensions

245 x 140 x 55cm

Playing field

Perforated polycarbonate

Top frame

Polycarbonate, with integrated lighting system

Barriers

Polycarbonate, both sides and centre of the playing field

Lighting

LED system in the playing field and in the legs

Air pump

160W

Power supply

230V / 50Hz

Power consumption

60W in demo mode, 390W in game mode

Payment

COMESTERO RM5 or NRI electronic coin acceptor

Options

Ticket dispenser, bill acceptor, card reader

Multiplayer

Connects as a twin or triple for up to 6 players in one match

Intended use

Arcades, family entertainment centres and leisure venues

Brand

WIK

Room Size Requirements

As a general guide, based on the table's own footprint plus room to move at both ends:

Configuration

Footprint

Recommended room size

Single

240 x 130cm

Approx. 3.5m x 2.0m

Twin (two linked)

240 x 260cm

Approx. 3.5m x 3.6m

Triple (three linked)

240 x 390cm

Approx. 3.5m x 5.2m

These are general guides rather than exact figures, and the twin and triple footprints assume the cabinets are sited side by side.
