wik-neo-violet-commercial-air-hockey-table
WIK Neo Violet Commercial Air Hockey Table 8ft

The Owner's Insights on the WIK Neo Violet

The Neo Violet is WIK's current commercial cabinet in its violet finish, and the thing that sets the Neo range apart is that the tables link. Bolt two together and you have a twin; bolt three together and up to six players can be in the same match at once. That is a genuinely different proposition from a standard two-player cabinet, and it is the reason the Neo does so well in family entertainment centres and holiday parks where a queue of four or six people is normal.

Everything above the legs is polycarbonate: a perforated playing field, a lit top frame running the full way round, and barriers down both sides and across the centre. The LED lighting is in the playfield and in the legs, so the whole cabinet glows rather than just the scoreboard, and the violet finish is what gives this version its look. A 160W air pump keeps the puck moving properly across the full 240 x 130cm bed.

One honest note: at 230kg this is a commercial machine and it is meant to stay where you put it. It is also 240cm long, so measure the route in before the route in becomes the problem. If you want something for a spare room at home, the WIK Home or the Dybior Blizzard are the right end of the range.

Why You'll Love the WIK Neo Violet

Links as a twin or a triple – connect multiple tables and run one match with up to six players, which no standard cabinet can do.

LED lighting in the playfield and the legs – the whole table lights up, not just a score panel, so it reads as a feature from across a room.

Polycarbonate playing field and barriers – a perforated bed with side and centre barriers, built for the knocks of constant public play.

160W air pump – a strong, even cushion across the full 8ft bed, which is what keeps the puck fast rather than draggy.

COMESTERO RM5 or NRI coin acceptor – an electronic mech from day one, with a ticket dispenser, bill acceptor or card reader available as options.

Why You Should Consider WIK

WIK is a Polish amusement equipment manufacturer supplying arcades, family entertainment centres and holiday parks across Europe. It is not a furniture brand with a games table sideline, and the Neo shows it: a 230kg cabinet, polycarbonate throughout, a commercial air pump and an electronic coin mech specified as standard. That is a design brief for a machine that gets played every day.

How Does Linking Two or Three Tables Together Work?

The Neo cabinets are built to be connected, either as a pair or as a set of three, so that what was two-player air hockey becomes a single match with up to six people in it. In a venue that changes the economics: one group of six does not have to split across three separate games or take turns, and the table block becomes the thing people gather round rather than queue for. If you are buying more than one, tell us at the point of order and we will confirm the linking kit and layout with WIK, since the tables need to be sited together to work as a set.

What Payment Systems Can Be Fitted?

The Neo Violet comes with a COMESTERO RM5 or NRI electronic coin acceptor as standard. Beyond that, a ticket dispenser, a bill acceptor and a card reader are all available as options, so the cabinet can be specified for a ticket redemption arcade, a cash venue or a cashless site. It is worth deciding before you order rather than retrofitting later, because the wiring and the cabinet preparation differ. If the table is going into a private games room and you want no payment system involved at all, say so and we will have it set up that way.

What Will It Cost to Run?

WIK publish the figures: 60W in demo mode and 390W in game mode, on a standard 230V/50Hz supply. In practical terms that means the table draws very little while it is sitting lit and waiting for a player, and only pulls its full load while a game is actually running. For a venue running long hours, that difference is worth knowing when you work out the running cost per day.

Message Rossa on WhatsApp

WIK Neo Violet Specifications

Everything below is taken directly from WIK's own specification for this table.

Table size

240 x 130 x 85cm

Weight

Approx. 230kg

Packaged dimensions

245 x 140 x 55cm

Packaged weight

Approx. 240kg

Playing field

Perforated polycarbonate

Top frame

Polycarbonate, with integrated lighting system

Barriers

Polycarbonate, both sides and centre of the playing field

Lighting

LED system in the playing field and in the legs

Air pump

160W

Power supply

230V / 50Hz

Power consumption

60W in demo mode, 390W in game mode

Payment

COMESTERO RM5 or NRI electronic coin acceptor

Options

Ticket dispenser, bill acceptor, card reader

Multiplayer

Connects as a twin or triple for up to 6 players in one match

Intended use

Arcades, family entertainment centres and leisure venues

Brand

WIK

Room Size Requirements

As a general guide, based on the table's own footprint plus room to move at both ends:

Table size

Table footprint

Recommended room size

Single

240 x 130cm

Approx. 3.5m x 2.0m

Twin (two linked)

240 x 260cm

Approx. 3.5m x 3.6m

Triple (three linked)

240 x 390cm

Approx. 3.5m x 5.2m

These are general guides rather than exact figures, and the twin and triple footprints assume the cabinets are sited side by side.
