Why Choose a Slate Bed Table?

If you're building a games room you intend to enjoy for years, the playing surface matters more than anything else on the spec sheet.

The Pierce uses three sections of 20mm Rasson natural slate, supported by a solid steel internal frame. Slate provides a stable, flat foundation for smooth and predictable ball movement, and unlike MDF it does not sag over time.

Twelve levelling screws anchored in the frame allow fine adjustment of the playing surface on installation. The result is a table designed around accurate play rather than simply looking good in the room.

Getting the Pierce Into Your Room

The Pierce ships dismantled in four cartons, so individual components can be carried through doorways and up stairs that a fully assembled 8ft table would never clear. Assembly and slate levelling are handled by our installation team as part of delivery.

Everything You Need for the First Frame

Your chosen club cloth comes fitted as part of the installation, in any of the five standard colours at no extra cost, each carrying an ironed-on CPBA logo on one cushion. That logo is the small detail that marks the Pierce out as a competition-specification table rather than a lookalike.

Two American pool cues and a full 2¼″ spots-and-stripes ball set come with the table as standard, so you can play the evening it's installed.
