Product Description

FMF Xcalibur Pool Dining Table — tournament play, dining table convenience

The FMF Xcalibur Pool Dining Table pairs a genuine 3/4-inch slate bed with a hidden retractable ball drawer and matching dining tabletops, so it plays like a proper pool table and clears away into a dining table when you need the room back.

Available in 6ft and 7ft sizes, and in Laminate, Oak Timber or Walnut Timber finishes, with a modern metal leg design finished in black as standard.

Let the experts help you choose your FMF Xcalibur Pool Dining Table

With three finishes and two sizes to choose from, it's worth talking through which combination suits your room before you order.

The Xcalibur uses the same slate bed and hidden ball drawer as our Elixir Diner, but with a modern metal leg construction rather than the Elixir's stainless steel legs — if you're deciding between the two, that's the main thing that separates them.

Not sure whether 6ft or 7ft fits your space, or which finish suits your room? Get in touch and we'll help you work through it before you order.

The Owner's Insights on the Xcalibur

The Xcalibur is FMF's flagship dining table, and the metal leg design is what sets it apart from the Elixir Diner rather than anything to do with playing quality — both share the same 3/4-inch slate bed and hidden ball drawer. Black is the standard leg colour and the one we can turn around fastest, since FMF keep it in stock; White, Brown and Grey are made to order, so build in a little extra lead time if you want one of those. One thing worth knowing: there's no Outdoor version of the Xcalibur in FMF's range — if you need a table that lives outside, our Spirit Tournament Outdoor or Elixir Outdoor are the ones to look at instead.

Why You'll Love the Xcalibur

  • Genuine 3/4-inch slate bed — proper tournament-standard playing surface, not a lightweight substitute.
  • Hidden retractable ball drawer — keeps balls tucked away between games instead of left out on show.
  • Modern metal leg construction — Black as standard for the fastest turnaround, with White, Brown and Grey made to order.
  • Matching dining tabletops included — converts to a full dining table in moments, with a grey tinted glass upgrade available, or remove the tops for £300 off if you only want the pool table.
  • Choose 6ft or 7ft, in Laminate, Oak or Walnut — build the table around your room, not the other way round.

Why You Should Consider an FMF Pool Table

FMF build their tables in the UK to a genuine slate-bed standard rather than cutting corners with lightweight playing surfaces, and back that up with a wide range of finish, cloth and leg options so your table can be built to suit your space rather than the other way round.

FMF Xcalibur vs FMF Elixir Diner — What's Different

Both share the same 3/4-inch slate bed, hidden retractable ball drawer, slate beam support and hingeless top frame — the playing experience is identical. The difference comes down to the legs: the Elixir Diner uses a stainless steel leg construction, while the Xcalibur uses a modern-designed metal leg construction, finished in black as standard with white, brown or grey available made to order. Both are indoor-only tables — neither has an FMF Outdoor tier.

Is the FMF Xcalibur a Genuine Slate Bed Pool Table?

Yes. Underneath the dining-table format is the same 3/4-inch slate bed you'd find on a dedicated tournament table, with a slate beam support structure and hingeless top frame. The dining tabletops and retractable ball drawer are what make it dual-purpose — the playing quality underneath isn't compromised for it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the FMF Xcalibur a genuine slate-bed table?

Yes. It uses the same 3/4-inch slate bed and slate beam support structure as our other FMF tables — the dining-table format doesn't compromise the playing surface underneath.

What's the difference between the Xcalibur and the Elixir Diner?

They share the same slate bed, hidden ball drawer and hingeless top frame. The main difference is the legs: the Xcalibur uses a modern-designed metal leg construction, while the Elixir Diner uses stainless steel legs.

Is there an Outdoor version of the Xcalibur?

No — FMF don't offer an Outdoor tier for the Xcalibur range. If you need a table for outdoor use, take a look at our Spirit Tournament Outdoor or Elixir Outdoor instead.

What finishes are available?

Laminate, Oak Timber (in a choice of stains) or Walnut Timber, in 6ft or 7ft sizes.

Can I upgrade the dining tabletops to glass?

Yes — the matching dining tabletops can be upgraded to grey tinted glass tabletops.

What leg colours can I choose?

Black is the standard colour and the fastest to turn around, since FMF keep it in stock. White, Brown and Grey are available made to order. Stainless steel isn't available on the Xcalibur range.
