Rasson makes tournament tables for English pool, slate tables for American pool and pool dining tables, so the first choice is which game you play.
Apollo II and Ironman: English tournament tables
Both are 7ft English tables for 2in balls, with a 183 × 91cm playing area, a 19mm one-piece slate and a ball return. The Apollo II (£2,995) has slate ground to under 0.1mm on steel supports, cushions bolted through the slate, a cue ball separator and CPBA 820 cloth in Teal. The Ironman (£3,295) has a black cabinet, Ultimate Pool Pro 820 cloth in Teal and a triangle storage unit. It's made to order, so allow around 4 months. See all English pool tables.
Dauphine and Pierce: American slate tables
Both are 8ft American tables with a 224 × 112cm playing area, 20mm three-piece Rasson slate, a solid steel frame with 12 levelling screws, K66 cushions and leather drop pockets. The Dauphine (£4,186) has a grey-toned stained oak cabinet and crossing steel legs. The Pierce (£4,995) has crossed brushed stainless steel legs, in Walnut or Dark Grey. Both come with five club cloth colours, Simonis cloth as an upgrade, and an accessory pack.
Bedford, Penelope II, Trillium and Madrid: pool dining tables
All four have 20mm three-piece slate, 12 slate levellers and K66 cushions. The Bedford (from £3,995) is Silver Mist with brushed metal legs, in 7ft or 8ft. The Penelope II (from £4,795) is the only one with a four-piece dining top included, seats up to 12 and comes in Silver Mist, Shining White or Shining Black. The Trillium (£4,975) is an 8ft table in walnut veneer, with optional dining and table tennis tops. The Madrid (from £5,045) is solid hardwood with walnut veneer, in 7ft or 8ft, with an optional dining top that seats up to 12. See all pool dining tables.
What is the Rasson Apollo II pool table?
The Rasson Apollo II is a 7ft English pool table, and Ultimate Pool says it's the official table used at all Ultimate Pool events. It replaces the original Apollo, which Rasson now lists as discontinued. It's built like a high-end American competition table, with precision-ground 19mm slate, steel slate supports and cushions bolted through the slate, but in the 7ft English format. It weighs 225kg, so it needs a solid floor.
Rasson pool table reviews: are they any good?
Rasson Billiards was founded in 1990 making billiard slate for other table makers. It began building tables in 2005 and has sold its own brand since 2012. Rasson describes itself as the largest maker and exporter of billiard tables in the world, and says its tables are the official pool table for Matchroom events, including the Mosconi Cup, World Pool Masters and World Cup of Pool.
Every Rasson pool table we sell has a natural slate bed. The English tables use 19mm one-piece slate, and the American and dining tables use 20mm three-piece slate, which can be easier to get into a house than a single slab.

Delivery is included on most tables to mainland England and Wales, and installation is included on most American and premium slate-bed tables. Deliveries involving stairs carry an extra charge.
