Product Description

The Owner's Insights on the Omega Pro

I get asked about the mechanism more than almost anything else on the Omega Pro, so let's start there. Choose Electronic and you get a coin-operated table with its own electronic unit, priced and controlled by you, ready to earn its keep in a bar or club from day one. Choose Standard instead and there's no mechanism at all, just straight freeplay for a home or private games room that doesn't need to charge on the door.

Physically, the two play identically. Same 19mm precision-ground slate bed, same chrome-plated die-cast corners with recessed pocket liners, so the cue runs through cleanly right into the pocket instead of catching on proud metalwork. I've fitted this table in working men's clubs and in spare rooms turned games rooms, and it holds up the same in both.

If you're kitting out a bar or club for real footfall, Electronic earns the table's keep back. If it's just you, your family and mates round, Standard is the one.

Why You'll Love the Omega Pro

  • Choose your mechanism at checkout — Standard gives you straight freeplay, Electronic gives you a coin unit priced however you like, so the table matches how you'll actually use it.
  • 19mm precision-ground slate bed — the same playing surface commercial venues rely on, for a true, consistent roll every rack.
  • Chrome-plated die-cast corners with recessed pocket liners — cueing stays unrestricted right up to the pocket, rather than catching on the frame.
  • Six cabinet finishes and ten cloth colours — from a traditional pub-style Black to a lighter Grey Oak, so it suits a corner of the bar or a converted garage alike.
  • Full accessory pack included — balls, cues, triangle and chalk, so the table's ready to play the moment it's levelled.
  • Built by DPT in Great Britain since 1974 — five decades making pool tables for pubs, clubs and homes, not a generic import.

Why You Should Consider a DPT Pool Table

DPT have been building slate-bed pool tables in Great Britain since 1974, and the Omega Pro is one of their best-selling commercial models for a reason: it's built to survive a pub's Friday night, not just an occasional living-room game. Choosing DPT means genuine slate rather than a lighter bed material, and a manufacturer that still designs for venues where a table breaking down simply isn't an option.

Between 6ft or 7ft, Standard or Electronic, six cabinet finishes and ten cloth colours, most buyers find exactly what they're after in the options above. Want the Electronic mechanism in a finish other than Black, or a cloth colour we haven't listed? Message our team and we'll see what we can put together for your table specifically.

Every Omega Pro is built to the same commercial-grade spec, whichever mechanism you choose. FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Omega Pro come with a coin mechanism?

Yes. A standard coin mechanism is fitted as standard. An electronic mechanism upgrade is also available, giving you more control over pricing, and is currently offered with the Black cabinet finish.

What's included in the accessory pack?

Every Omega Pro ships with a set of Aramith 2" red and yellow pool balls, a black plastic racking triangle, a piece of chalk, and two pool cues (48" or 57", matched to your table size).

What cabinet and cloth options are available?

The cabinet comes in six finishes: Black, Concrete, Dark Oak, Dark Walnut, Grey Oak and White. Cloth is available in Strachan (Black, Blue, Cherry Red, Green, Grey) or Pro Speed (Charcoal Grey, English Green, Powder Blue, Royal Blue, Teal).

Where is the Omega Pro made?

By DPT in Great Britain, where they've been building pool tables since 1974.

Is this table suitable for home use, or only commercial venues?

Both. It's built to commercial specification for pubs and clubs, but plenty of home buyers choose it for the same durability and playing quality, with the coin mechanism just adding a bit of fun to games night.
