Yes. Underneath the modern cabinet sits a proper 25mm slate bed, built in three pieces rather than one, which is how a quality American table keeps its surface flat across a playing area this size. If a listing doesn't mention slate at all, or only gives you MDF or chipboard, that's usually a sign the table's built to a lower price point rather than a higher one. Dynamic's own recommended room size for the Xray is 5.26m x 4.13m, which lines up closely with the 57″ cue figure above. At 256cm long it needs a proper room behind it, not just a corner of one.
