The Gambit is a handmade oval poker table from Arena Woodworks, a small workshop in the Netherlands where every table is built to order. At around 240 x 120cm, it seats 8 to 10 players, with room for a dealer and a proper casino-style layout.
No two Gambits need be the same. Choose the Classic with its brown rail, or the Black with a black rail and darker playing surface, then add the extras you want, from LED lighting to cupholders and a lockable chip tray. The Owner's Insights on the Gambit
What I like about the Gambit is that it feels like a casino table, not a games room accessory. The padded rail is comfortable to lean on for hours, the speed cloth plays beautifully, and the oval shape gives every seat a clear view of the board. Because it's made to order, you can match the colours to your room rather than settling for whatever's in stock.
I'll be honest about two things. Many of the photos show optional extras, such as cupholders, LED lighting, chip trays and pedestal bases, so check what's included as standard. And because each table is handmade, it takes longer to arrive than an off-the-shelf table, so allow time if you're planning around a date.
Gambit Classic or Gambit Black?
The Classic pairs a brown rail with a lighter playing surface for a warm, traditional casino look that suits wood-panelled rooms and bars. The Black has a black rail and darker playing surface, giving a modern, dramatic feel that works especially well with LED lighting. Both are the same table underneath, at the same starting price.

How Much Room Do You Need for an Oval Poker Table?
Allow the table's 240 x 120cm plus around 90cm on every side for chairs to slide back and players to get in and out. That means a clear space of roughly 4.2 x 3m for a comfortable 8 to 10 player game.
