Product Description
The Owner's Insights on the Heemskerk Time Out Football Table
The Time Out is the football table I'd point a school, nursery, youth club or busy family home towards. It's built to take knocks, and it's built to be safe around young children.
The big difference is the rods. They're telescopic, so they slide in and out of the cabinet but never poke out of the far side. On a normal football table the rods shoot out at hip height on the opposite side, which is exactly where small children stand. On the Time Out that simply doesn't happen.
It's tough too. The playing field is 5mm tempered frosted glass, the cabinet has sturdy ABS edges and the 18mm chrome steel rods won't rust. It's CE certified to European toy safety standards.
If you want a heavy tournament table for adults who play every night, look at something bigger. For safe, hard-wearing everyday play, the Time Out is a great choice.

Why You'll Love the Heemskerk Time Out
- Safe telescopic rods: they never stick out of the opposite side, so there's nothing at head or hip height for children to walk into.
- Vandal-proof glass playing field: 5mm tempered frosted glass that won't scratch, dent or warp.
- Strong chrome rods: 18mm steel with an anti-rust chrome finish.
- Tough cabinet: sturdy ABS edges protect the sides from bumps and knocks.
- Sloping corners: the ball rolls back into play instead of getting stuck.
- Ready to play: comes with 10 balls and adjustable levelling feet.
Where Does the Time Out Work Best?
It's made for places where lots of different people play: nurseries and childcare settings, school canteens, youth clubs, waiting rooms and family games rooms. Children and adults can play on it, and the 90cm height suits older children and grown-ups.
How Much Space Do You Need?
The table measures 120 x 78cm and stands 90cm high, not counting the rods. Because the rods are telescopic, you only need room for players to stand at each side and pull the rods towards them. As a guide, allow about 80cm on each rod side for comfortable play.
