The Vismara Dandy is the table I'd show anyone who wants their pool table to look like a piece of designer furniture first and a games table second. The whole frame is wrapped in European top grain leather, the pockets are finished in matching leather, and the top rail is ebony makassar veneer. There are no exposed legs, no chrome and no plastic. Just clean lines and beautiful materials.

Underneath the tailoring it's a serious table. The playing surface is authentic Italian slate covered in Simonis cloth, the same cloth used on professional tables, so it plays as well as it looks.

The part I love most is that no two are the same. You choose the size, the leather, the cloth and the finish, and your table is made to order around those choices. Your table won't be one of hundreds sitting in a warehouse: it's built for your room.

One honest note. Because every table is handmade to your specification, it takes longer to arrive than a stock table and it can't be returned once made. We'll send you samples and confirm every detail with you before anything is cut.

Every part of the Dandy you can see is your choice. Pick your options above, or speak to us and we'll guide you through the samples.

• Size: 7ft, 8ft or 9ft, to suit your room.
• Leather: Choose from around 70 shades of top grain leather in three grades, from crisp whites and creams to greys, tans, bold reds and black.
• Cloth: 27 Simonis cloth colours, from classic greens and blues to camel, taupe, grey, wine and black.
• Top rail finish: Ebony makassar veneer as standard, or a lacquered finish in matt, soft touch or gloss, including metallic shades like gold, bronze and titanium.
• Pockets: Finished in leather to match the body of the table.

Who Are Vismara?

Vismara are an Italian design house that makes luxury games furniture: pool tables, poker tables, football tables and more. Nothing is built until it's ordered, which is the reason the lead time is longer than a stock table and the reason you get to choose the materials rather than pick from two or three stock finishes. It's also why a Vismara table looks like furniture first. These are designed for the kind of room where a games table has to sit alongside everything else, not hide in a garage.

Choosing Your Leather

The leather comes in three grades. The standard top grain range covers whites, creams, sands, greys and a few bold colours like gold, orange and red. The Soft range has a softer, more supple handle. The Extra range is the most luxurious leather in the collection. Every colour has a code, such as GA07 or NU151. If you'd like to see and feel them first, we'll arrange samples before you order.

Lacquered Finishes

If ebony isn't right for your room, the top rail can be lacquered instead. Choose from 14 colours, from Bianco (white) and Avorio (ivory) to Tortora (dove grey), Antracite and Nero (black), in matt, soft touch or gloss. For something more striking, there are six metallic lacquers: Metal Silver, Metal Piombo, Metal Titanio, Metal Black, Bronze and Metal Gold.

Is the Dandy Right for Your Space?

The 7ft measures 248 x 147cm, the 8ft measures 260 x 154cm and the 9ft measures 290 x 169cm, all 80.5cm high. Remember to allow room around the table to play with a full-length cue: most people need at least 1.5m clear on every side. Send us your room measurements, including doorways and stairs on the way in, and we'll tell you which size fits best.

Your Vismara Dandy is built after you order, to your exact specification. We'll confirm the lead time and your delivery date when you order, and keep you updated while it's being made. If you have a date in mind, such as a move or a renovation, tell us early and we'll plan around it.
