The Owner's Insights on the WIK Dragon Racer Kiddie Ride
I love the Dragon Racer because children get to race on the back of a dinosaur. They hold the reins to turn left, turn right and jump, and pressing the button on the dino's head gives them a burst of super speed. The race plays out on a 23-inch IPS LED screen in front of them, and the figure moves.
What I'd point out to any operator is the menu. WIK gives you lots of settings to adjust, including game time and advertising. The figure and its stand glow too, so it catches the eye of families walking past. WIK also says interactive rides like this earn more than standard kiddie rides.
I'll be honest: it's the most compact of the WIK kiddie rides we stock, at 160 x 75cm and around 100kg, so it suits smaller spaces well. If you want a car theme instead, I'd look at Racing Cars, or the Jeep Off-Road for a bigger ride with a 32-inch screen.
Why You'll Love the WIK Dragon Racer
- Ride a dinosaur – a theme young children love straight away.
- Reins to steer and jump – players turn left, right and jump using the reins.
- Super speed button – pressing the button on the dino's head gives a burst of acceleration.
- Glowing figure and stand – lights that draw families over.
- Customisable menu – adjust game time and advertising settings.
Why You Should Consider WIK
WIK is a Polish amusement equipment manufacturer with years of experience building arcade machines and kiddie rides for arcades, holiday parks and family entertainment centres across Europe. Its machines are built for daily public play, with an electronic coin mech fitted at the factory.
How Do You Play the Dragon Racer?
The child sits on the dinosaur and races on the 23-inch screen. Pull the reins to turn left, right or jump. Press the button on the dino's head for super acceleration.
What Will It Cost to Run?
WIK rates it at 120W in demo mode and 350W during a ride, on a standard 230V supply.
