The Owner's Insights on Hero of Robots
Hero of Robots is a kids' arcade game from Wahlap where children control a giant robot with their own body. Motion-sensing (Kinect) technology tracks their movements, so they punch, swing and dodge in front of a 42 inch screen to become the robot's Hero Pilot.
There are three battle phases, from throwing punches to wielding a virtual energy sword and dodging boss attacks. An unlimited health system means the game keeps going even when the robot takes damage, so there's no frustration for younger players, and they get plenty of exercise too.
I'll be honest: it's light for an arcade machine at around 165kg, but it needs floor space in front for the play mat. Power, payment and warranty details aren't published yet, so I'll confirm those before you order.
Why You'll Love Hero of Robots
- Full-body control: children move to control the robot.
- Three battle phases: punch, swing and dodge.
- Unlimited health: no frustration for younger players.
- Active play: a proper workout disguised as a game.
- Made by Wahlap: a leading arcade racing game developer.
