Vismara Oskar Football Table: Bring People Together Around A Football Table You'll Actually Want On Display
The Vismara Oskar Football Table gives your games room an instant reason for people to gather, compete and stay for another game, without filling a carefully designed space with something that looks like it belongs in an arcade.
Inspired by the curves and colours of 1950s design, this Italian football table combines a playful retro character with the finish and customisation you'd expect from a serious piece of luxury furniture.
Let The Experts Help You Customise Your Vismara Oskar
The Oskar gives you plenty of freedom to make the finished table feel right for your room.
There are 18 lacquer colours available, opening up everything from softer retro-inspired shades to stronger colours that deliberately make the table a focal point.
You can also choose between glossy, matt and soft-touch treatments, while the steel players are available in four finishes or lacquered options.
That means you don't have to find a games room that suits the football table. You can configure the football table to suit the games room.

The Oskar In A Nutshell
1950s character without the old-fashioned feel: rounded forms, flowing lines and retro-inspired colours give the Oskar its personality, while its lacquered finish creates a much cleaner, more contemporary result.
A playing surface that's part of the design: the back-lacquered tempered glass playing field creates a clean surface at the centre of the table and complements its highly finished appearance.
Customise it around your interior: choose from 18 lacquer colours, different surface treatments and alternative player finishes to create an Oskar that feels like it was chosen specifically for your room.
Less fuss around the rods: the Oskar uses a DryLin linear rod system designed to operate without lubrication, removing one of the regular maintenance jobs on a football table.
Who Are Vismara?
Vismara are an Italian design house that makes luxury games furniture: football tables, pool tables, poker tables and more. Nothing is built until it's ordered, which is the reason the lead time is longer than a stock table and the reason you get to choose the colours and finishes rather than pick from two or three stock options. The Oskar is the most characterful piece in the range, and the one to look at if you want the table to be fun to look at as well as to play.

The Owner's Insights On The Vismara Oskar
The first thing I'd say about the Oskar is that it doesn't really look like a conventional foosball table. The body has these rounded, flowing edges rather than the square cabinet shape most people picture, and the glossy lacquer gives it much more presence in the room.
I'd put it in a proper home games room, bar area or entertainment space where the furniture and overall interior have already had some thought put into them.
The 18 lacquer colours are a big advantage because you're not forced to build the room around one standard finish. You can make it fairly restrained or deliberately go for something with more personality.
I also like the tempered glass playing field and lubrication-free rod system because there is substance behind the design.
It isn't the table I'd recommend if you're simply looking for the cheapest way to play table football at home. It makes most sense when you want the game, the furniture and the interior design to work together.
Why You'll Love The Oskar
It gives people something to do together. Rather than having a games room that looks impressive but rarely gets used, table football creates instant competition and gives friends and family an easy reason to get involved.
You can make it feel like part of your interior. With 18 lacquer colours, different finish treatments and multiple options for the players, you're not restricted to a generic football table dropped into the middle of the room.
The retro design has real personality. Its rounded shapes, flowing lines and 1950s influence make the Oskar immediately recognisable without turning your entertainment room into a themed space.
It's designed to be played, not simply looked at. The tempered glass playing field, steel players, cork balls and DryLin linear rod system mean the Oskar still has to deliver when somebody inevitably demands a rematch.
Your Life With The Oskar
It starts with one game.
Someone sees the Oskar across the room, walks over and grabs the handles. Someone else takes the opposite side.
Five minutes later, everybody else is watching.
That's the nice thing about having a football table at home. There's almost no barrier to getting involved. You don't need to organise an evening around it or be particularly good at the game.
You just start playing.
Before long you've got teams, rematches and somebody getting considerably more competitive than they expected.
And when nobody is playing, you're not left looking at a generic games table you'd rather hide away.
You've chosen the colour. You've chosen the finish. You've thought about how it works with the rest of the room.
The Vismara Oskar gets to be both: something you really want in your interior and something that gives people a reason to use it.
