The Rasson Penelope II comes with a a dining cover included in the price, so you don't need to worry about buying that seperately. All you need to decide is the size you want and cloth colour ideal for your home!

Underneath its slim, furniture-style cabinet sits a genuine three-piece, 20mm slate bed and K66 cushion rail system, the same specification you'd expect on a proper American pool table. Fit the included four-piece dining top and the same table seats up to twelve people for dinner. Lift it off again and you're back to a proper game.

Finish and Cloth Options

The Penelope II comes in three finishes. Silver Mist is a muted grey wood-grain stain, Shining White is a high-gloss white lacquer, and Shining Black is a high-gloss black lacquer. All three sit on the same slim, straight-legged cabinet, so the choice comes down to which one suits your room rather than any difference in how the table plays. Shining Black is currently only available in 7ft.

Cloth is Simonis speed cloth, included in the price, with a genuine range of colours to choose from, so you can pair the playing surface with your finish and your room rather than settling for whatever's left over.

Should You Choose 7ft or 8ft?

The 7ft Penelope II measures 230 x 130cm overall, with a 200 x 100cm playing area. It's the easier fit for a standard dining room and still gives you a proper game.

The 8ft steps up to 256 x 145cm overall, with a 224 x 112cm playing area, a genuinely bigger table for a genuinely bigger room.

Both sizes sit at the same 78cm height (81cm with the dining top fitted), so the decision comes down to floor space and cueing room, not comfort at the table.

The figures below allow for the playing surface plus twice the cue length on each side, rounded up. They're a sensible starting point for planning, not a guarantee, so allow extra room for your backswing and any furniture or doorways nearby.

Rasson Penelope II Access & Installation

The Penelope II ships fully dismantled in 6 boxes, including the three-piece slate bed, which makes it far easier to get into rooms that a fully built table would never reach.

It's still a genuinely heavy table once the slate's involved, so it's worth checking doorways, hallways, stairs and any tight corners on the route in before it arrives.
